I aspect that there will be no chances to the container screen in the future to improve the musical structure for composing.
Another way to try to improve the ease of composing in Synfire is to improve the instrumentvisibility in the master/root ( or pack ) container (already as idea discussed here)
The possibilities to :
adding colored segments on the tracks ..for the musical colored structure
group folders for instruments
coloring tracks for instrumentfamilies
more?
So it is not only "read only" in the mastercontainer screen, but also be active placing colored elements on the tracks ( where the figure is shining thrue on the background like in cubase + volume + velocity )
No ideas anymore..
