On Intelligent Generators

Artificial intelligence has been around for decades, but only recently neural networks, deep learning in particular, became a hot topic again. I wanted to share a bit of insight into Cognitone's perspective on this is and what we are currently doing in the way of new intelligent features for Synfire.

Synfire 1.8.5 and HN2 Updates

The update released today fixes some annoying issues with macOS High Sierra that took us a while to identify and resolve. If you are using High Sierra, we recommend you update as soon as possible. Furthermore, a couple general bug fixes also benefit Microsoft Windows users. The Audio Engine was made more robust against audio interface crashes, for instance.

Synfire 1.8.1 and 1.8.2

Today we released version 1.8.1 of Synfire Pro and Synfire Express. As it appears from looking at the numbers, the step from 1.8.0 may seem small. In fact however, big things have changed and been much improved: Devices, for example, are now capable of being used with any number of rack modules at the same time. The duplication of devices is history!
