Plugin directories on Windows 10

Posted

Although at installation of Synfire I have set my VST directories to D:\VST\x32 and D:\VST\x64, none of my plugins show up in Synfire.

Please help!

Hi Johan,

Please open the Audio & MIDI Setup window and run "Scan For Installed Plug-ins" from the Audio menu. On the dialog window that opens, add your VST directories to the list. Note that there's a list for 32 bit and another for 64 bit plugins, depending on which engines you have currently running.

We are about to release Synfire 1.8 very soon (this weekend), which includes a fix for this, so directories set at install time will automatically be included with the search path.
