I got an error message when trying to load the downloaded file but I'm still on synfire 1.1.10 so there may be a compatibility issue. The error message I got said: "The identifier Chimera.Playing Ranges has no binding. The file may be corrupted."

I still get the Chimera.PlayingRanges error even using the "stuffed" version.
I don't know what 'chimera means'. is chimera a virtual instrument you are using?. I saved, stuffed, uploaded to box.net , and then downloaded, and unstuffed the library and it worked for me.
I guess Andre or Super will have to respond.. Good luck, keep at it. It will benefit us all if we can learn to create and share libraries we use.
Success! The problem was just that I was using an old synfire version. Nice library - very idiomatic.
Many thanks!
Hi Tim;
Did you download the sitx. file? or the one coglib file. I couldn't get coglib to work right either, but did get sitx to work. I have a couple more to upload, once I figure this out.
any way to open these on PC?
Mark,
I have now managed to download the original coglib file. I am using IE8 on windows. Rightclick and "save target as" gives a save menu but for some reason it chooses to save as an html file. If I change the file type to "any" and correct the suffix back to .coglib it all works.
And thanks for posting all those libraries. I will take a look when I have two minutes to rub together.
Tim
Hi duderanch -
Yes, I have uploaded '.coglib' files and relinked them to original post. They should work now. You don't have to uncompress them.
I can't download the coglib file I saved on Synfire - Safari thinks it is a webpage, and downloads text gibberish. Will try another Mac browser. I did update the libraries from the other day. They are now '.goglib' files so either Macs or PC can download them with no problem.
Strange I can download the coglib from my Box.net account, but not from the Synfire server.
I just fixed the webserver's mime types for coglib, cognac, etc. The downloads should work now. Let me know if I forgot one file extension.
thanks Andre. its working.
