There was one thing that I've always been wondering about MPS.
I have a few drum tracks of my own, but being able to have them processed through MPS would give them new life.
I've always been wondering this, but how does MPS handle drums and percussion?
Ben
Hi Ben,
sure, MPS can handle drums on MIDI basis (albeit not audio loops). You can modify its dynamics and "groove" quantization or generate new rhythms from scratch by combining different figures. MPS however does not yet have any sophisticated drum generators or such. The focus of the Prototyping Studio is musical composition, not audio production.

Cool!
The drum tracks I have are MIDI tracks, so they should work with MPS.
I'm looking more and more forward to MPS.
PS: Will we be able to order the "Early Bird" release? I've been waiting so long and I'd be more than willing to do extensive testing of MPS when it's ready. I've worked with lots of various sequencers, but being a composer I've been waiting for something like MPS for years now.
I'm still hanging on tight.
Best Regards
Ben
