failed loading bootstrap core

I have tried to download the latest version of HN, and install it. But when I try and launch HN I get a message saying something along the lines of "failed loading bootstrap core. Please reinstall the software." Is there a fix for this problem please? Thank's for any help.

This indicates HN can not load the program library, most likely because it belongs to a different version of the software. This never happened yet, but it could be something went wrong during the update.

I would suggest you uninstall and re-install. If this doesn't work out, remove the program manually and re-install the latest version again. Please make sure you backup your "Config" folder in "/Library/Application Support/Harmony Navigator", then delete the program and the folder "/Library/Application Support/Harmony Navigator". This is the recommended way to remove the software and its settings manually.

If you're on a PC, you'll find the stuff in "C:\Program Files\Cognitone\Harmony Navigator" where also the "Config" directory resides.

If your "Config" contained customized devices and/or settings, move it to its original location after you installed the new version.
