yep. it's great for pop songwriting. i found it invaluable for fixing some of my songs. chords were simply boring and i could fix that.
they have recently added a new section to the manual, explaining how this color scheme is used:
"Fragility: Chord progressions that feature chords four notes away from each other form a strong progression (close neighbors in the circle of fifth), and should be featured in a chorus. Other chord progressions form weak ("fragile") progressions, and can be featured more in a verse. Strong changes are visualized bright while the weak ones are dark."
