Route MIDI to Individual Tracks in Logic 9

Synfire can't see Logic's internal instruments, as they are no AudioUnits. There's a workaround using the IAC MIDI Loopback driver.

If you want to use the same sounds in both Logic and Synfire, they need to be available as AudioUnits. This is not the case for Logic's own internal synths and samplers. In order to make them receive MIDI generated by Synfire, you can work around this limitation by using the IAC Loopback MIDI Driver and routing incoming MIDI to individual Logic tracks with a channel splitter in Logic's environment. 

This video is for Logic 9, but works similarily with Logic X.
