Im having extreme difficulty properly assigning instruments to snippets. Because Of this, I dont use snippets as much as I would like to.
How do I change the instrument of a snippet pool? I want to assign it an instrument and leave it. Sometimes I assign it and then it randomly changes. How are the instruments even selected for the phrase Pools in snippets? I thought it was whatever the library assigned the phrase pool but when I imported some of my own phrases onto another lane, the previous library Phrase pool instrument changed. Is it choosing instruments from the Global rack, the arrangement, the library rack? I have no idea.

Snippets are normal containers. You can edit them and assign sounds as usual (double click on snippet in the grid).
However, it can be confusing if snippets in a snippet group (row) are using different instruments. If so the group displays a folder symbol. The group merely displays the instrument (any snippet can have multiple instruments with phrases).
Important: Snippets share instruments with the arrangement. So any instrument edits on the Structure page also affect the snippets that use it.
