Importing Basis accompaniment per songsection?

Posted

I do have intro, breaks , rhythm , ending.. etc midi files
I like to import a intro midi in a introsection and a rhytm midifile in a verse songsection ..and so on

Can this be done in HN2 ?

Note: it is now that there is one basis midifile to load and from this you make a intro, verse, chorus , etc inHN2 , but there a lot of midifiles who are composed as a intro , rhytm and so on .. let me use this midi files too

Can this be changed in the next version of HN2 also ?

Can this be done in HN2 ?

Yes, it can be done. You can open the MIDI files one after the other as accompaniments and drag the imported phrases from the accompaniment window to the desired songsections at the song window. Use the following workflow:

  1. Open a song window and create the number of instruments you need.
  2. Open an accompaniment window and import a MIDI file
  3. Now you can drag the imported instruments to a desired song section: Click one of the imported instruments at the accompaniment window at its name, say “Piano”, and drag it to the desired songsection at the song window, say “Verse”.
  4. Notice that the currently selected instrument in the song window gets the name “Piano” and in the section “Verse” the instrument "Piano" is loaded with the phrase, which you have imported from the MIDI file.
  5. Select the next free instrument at the song window and repeat the procedure above with the next instrument of the accompaniment window.
  6. After you have copied every instrument from the accompaniment window to the section “Verse” you can import the next MIDI file at the accompaniment window and drag the imported phrases of it the same way to another songsection, say “Chorus”.

Hello There!

Jammer files are cool. The problem    i am finding is how to find gm instruments when  jammer has a lot more than gm synth included in NH2. Also transferring instruments from accompaniment to song works for me when I copy from instrument to instrument in song instead than to the song section.

Regards

That is strange, because i thought that the Jammer Pro files are in GM ( general  midi) Format?

Suppose you have some songsections from Jammer exported, how do you get them imported in HN2 than ?
