Software Version: Synfire 1.8.5 build 5
OS: Windows 10
Bug: Runtime error
Reproduce-ability: 100%
Reproduction steps
- Start new Arrangement
- Create new rack module in Sounds->Rack tab
- Load "Cinematic Strings Cellos" preset
- Create new rack module in Sounds->Rack tab
- Load "Cinematic Strings Violas" preset
- Synfire loads a second instance of the first module "Cellos"
- If we first load the Violas and then the Cellos preset, the Violas get loaded 2 times.
- This does not happen with all presets, just some, as if both presets have the same unique identifier
I attached a zip of both preset files (unfortunately they are in binary formar, so I cannot debug)
P.S. I still do not know how the preset get corrupted like that, but I experienced it several times. When it happens, the preset cannto be repaired anymore unfortunately.

Unfortunately I can't rebuild your setup, lacking the specific sound libraries you used.
To repair a preset, set the module up manually and simply save it as a preset again.

That is what I'm doing, but I had now about 5 times that a preset was corrupted. Still have no idea how to reproduce this. Any idea what I can try or send you for you to analyze why this behaves like that?
I find it strange that I get this and nobody seems to have the same problem.
