Would it be possible for the Synfire team to make some Micro Tutorials like Propellerhead do ?
They have a new micro tutorial every week, where they go through the program in small steps. I think it would be nice since synfire is so complex. You should also think about using youtube for the videos since you can tag the videos and it would give you more customers.

Micro Tutorials are undoubtedly a very good idea and we have this on our agenda for a very long time already. The bottleneck however is our limited manpower. Making a good video tutorial takes much more time than on might think.

They certainly also have a guy, or two (three?) who can work on each tutorial for one week exclusively. Or they might even delegate it to a marketing agency altogether.
Cognitone will focus on tutorials and music examples again once we will have finished the current batch of development tasks. This is the most pressing critical path at present.

Any idea when this will be and what those tasks are? I'm thinking of purchasing Syn Fire Pro (i already have HN 2) and would like to know before i purchase.

The audio plugin hosting will change the user interface and workflow. It would not make sense to produce new videos and other documentation before the new interface is at least in beta. Two or three months? ....
