For quite some time, drawing symbols has been disturbed by not being able to refocus on the already drawn symbol.
Then it worked again , and then it didn't and let it run its course.
Now I have drawn some H symbols, but selecting them again with the mouse cursor does not work.
Don't know a solution for this either, but the problem has been going on for a long time and makes Synfire unusable in Windows professional pro 11.

What does 'focus' mean in this context?
It means that selecting a symbol or a phrase segment is not possible anymore. With none of the editing tools. It happens to me too occasionally, but not very often. Once every few days. But when it happens, the only thing that helps is closing and reopening the arrangement.

Indeed as Jurgen explains, I have given this meaning to focus.
This term "focus" is more common when using software.
Maybe it has something to do with Windows pro 11?
A serious problem, because are you working and then suddenly there is no more focus ( selection of a segment with the cursor).
Focus in this context has nothing to do with my own personal focus on anything, but with the technical focus in computer programmes where a component has a focus in the graphical user interface due to a particular input from the user.

Sometimes the toolbar is no longer linked to the same phrase. Tools appear greyed out. Click into the parameter view to activate it again. Reselecting the current container or switching the page also fixes focus issues.
