I use Reason that have amazing sequencers. When using Reason as a plugin it can send MIDI out to the DAW. Is there any way to record that MIDI in Synfire or can Synfire only capture external MIDI?

A rack module can be marked to provide MIDI input. There's a check box on it for that. I can't test at the moment but this might do what you want.

Sorry this option is for Drones only. Should make sense to enable it for all plugins.
