First Tangerine Dream, next Kraftwerk, then PPG wave, Cubase, Harmony Navigator, and Synfire. I love how you Germans think!!!

Man, Cognitone and the German sensibility, and engineering genius is just AWESOME!!!

I mean Harmony Navigator alone is an incredible concept and an amazing bit of engineering. But SYNFIRE IS JUST GENIUS! Then with the VST support, not just VST support, but the way in which it will be implemented is just COOL!!!. And now true Daw capabiliy being added. Yeah! I love how you at Cognitone think!!! I'd say you think outside the box, but you never were near a box, the box has never exsited at Cognitone. I think your greatest strength is that you understand that the DAW market is locked up pretty tight by 5 or 6 DAWs. By not just adding VST support into a closed environment like Synfire, but sharing and directly incorporating other companies DAWs is so cool. You even provide a way to import to the competitors DAW direct. Yeah, Synfire is the first DAW created for the 21century. CONGRATS!!!

Yes, I totally agree with you.  Having owned Synfire Pro for a few months now, I have barely scratched the surface of it, but I already have a  completely different take now on understanding and making music. It will take a while to thoroughly understand and make full use of this software.  But even my little 'exercises' right now are very satisfying..  I'll admit it is challenging to get the results you're aiming for.

But for now, I bounce my results over to Logic Pro, and refine (used this software almost 20 years).  First thing when I wake up, I start thinking about Synfire, where I should start experimenting to understand it's full use.

I hear ya... I actually just scratched the surface myself. I have put Synfire aside for quite awhile, along with composing altogether. I have recently gone back to it. I love the huge learning curve, simply because I know this shows the complexity of things it can do.

Donßt forget Johann Sebastian Bach -- his horizonzally and vertically thinking.

;-) Maybe Andre is his re-incarnation.
