Groove quantization in SFE..how it works exactly?

Posted

Yes i did ..
There is a source phrase and target phrase..
From the target phrase I copied the figure parameter and than paste this in the target phrase parameter Rhythm

What will happen now ?
I do see a green tab screen with derived: derived rhythm from source target .. i think, right?

This (green) groove i must that transfer to the target phrase ? .. how? ..by taking a snapshot .

Now the target phrase has got the groove from the source phrase ?
( the target phrase will be not visual changed by this ..? )

-----------------------------------------------------------
What is the right workflow for this groove quantization.. i did it correct ?

You copy the rhythm parameter from the source and paste to the target is correct. Supertonic will correct if I am wrong, from the arrangement page the instrument track looks the same.. If you highlight the rhythm track that should reflect the same pattern as the source.

Because rhythm, step, and pause commands are going to alter the line, And you might put in a later container which alters one of those parameters.  I believe that SFE (like SFP) doesn't display visually the difference when looking from instrument/arrangement page..
