Synfire sync to Ableton does not make use of Abletons Link interface technology.
This interface is meanwhile a standard when exchanging Ableton with apps and devices and is likely to be also superior for sync with Synfire compared to to existing sync practice via MTC / SPP as documented (https://users.cognitone.com/de/tutorial/synfire-daw-ableton-live).
Ableton users using Synfire should enjoy the benefit.
Request to develop Synfire with full Link support.

Ableton Link does not support song locators. It can only be used in a live performance setup. There is no way to tell Live to jump to a song position.
