More Bass Notes Than I Bargained For

Hi,

Working with a Snippet, I'm trying to figure out how this:

comes out as this:

IOW, I am expecting, from the Figure, purely root bass notes - no passing tones, no jumping octaves, etc.

I thought Interpretation might be making this happen, but I deleted Interpretation and it still happens.

So, where are all "extra" tones coming from, and how can I configure for just "thumping the root" when/if that is what I want?
