Did this yesterday afternoon.
I loaded up You tube and listended to a bit of chill electronic to get me going.
I got the simple chord progresion just from sufing the pallete. All the parts are played in (appart fropm the arp)
This is the first time I have not used any midi files. Done using mostly Omni 2 anf Stylus Rmx. The melody part is Kontour.
Not sure about the mix yet.
Tried to upload it here but it did not work. So have pit it on soundcloud.

great track, sweet harmonies, lots of changes that still sound like one track. Reminds me of what a modern day JMJ would sound like, perhaps because of the arp running through it and the sound of one of the lead synths. Playing the stuff in live really gives it something extra, a bit more natural sounding. Ive followed you and looking forward to hearing the final mix down.
Had a listen to some of the other tracks youve just uploaded, were they done in synfire too? Did you play the parts in with those too?

Hi blacksun, thanks for the positive comments.
All the tracks that I have posted were done using Synfire and Logic X. Soft synths mainly Omnisphre and Stylus RMX.
Most of the other tracks were done using imported midi files (appart from some of the bass lines).
I find it hard to get good sounding bass lines from imported clips.
