1. I've downloaded 1.6.6 of Synfire Pro but when I clicked the manual from within the program, it takes me to the last page I was reading of the old manual. How do I know if I'm reading the latest version?
2. It may be my setup with Adobe (although this doesn't happen for any other manuals) but I can't click on a page number in the index and be taken directly to it. Also if the manual says 'see page 26' (or whatever) and I type 26 in Adobe it takes me to about 6 pages before.

The manual is a regular PDF file that is opened by the Adobe Reader. All navigation inside the manual is the responsibility of the reader program.
Page numbering may be different, because the PDF also includes a cover page and table of contents. If you find a cross reference however, it should be sensible to mouse clicks and take you there immediately. Something seems to be incomplete with the PDF meta data. Will check this.
