As i import a midi file ..SFP split the midi in phrases ( motives i think) automatically
Suppose i collect myself some phrases .. than i must place them in a folder
I get the idea that i do not know in the library what the phrase suppose to do musical, because recognition is only by ear than?
Or do i miss something?

You can rename phrase pools to reflect what you want to use them for.

Is it possible to select a interesting sub frase out the phrase in the phrase pool editor and put this in the pool? ..as a custom pool( made by user).
- names are not so long to use on the phrase block?
- Is there a visual relation to see with the automatically selected phrases and the master phrase..( where are the phrases situated in the master phrase)

hi janamdo
in phrase pool select with cmd-1, extract with cmd-e: is it this what you're looking for? (see pict "selected.png")
if you import your midi file directly in a library (new/open library -> import) instead of an arrangement (new arrangement -> import) so phrase will be cut automatically to 16 (= 4x4) beats and numbered as they occur in the master take ("1" = beat 1-16, "2" = 17-32 etc., grayed by density. (see pict "numbered.png")).
hope this helps
