Some advertisement for Synfire on Youtube

Autor AndreasHe

Hello Andre,

as I am a fan of your software, I want to help to make it more popular and started creating videos for it on youtube. Will also think about instagram and TikTok.

I assume it will have a positive effect over time.

To the community: Of course I would be happy for subscribers / followers ;-)

Thanks. I just subscribed to your YouTube channel.

On YouTube I'm "Really Really Free Music". My more recent stuff is all done with Synfire and Cubase.

Thank you so much. Awesome videos. Can you explain how to communicate synfire and the other DAW? I subscribes your channel.

Thats an interesting point and I already thought about a video regarding that. But I can already tell you that this is very limited and in some parts also a bit buggy.

Thanks . I think it is the most important part to comunicate the other DAWs with Synfire. Maybe You said bug and issue into the video. And Andre is fixed it.

Sure I will prepare some videos regarding that. I am not sure if Andre watches my videos. But he knows those things by the forum.

Now I created some videos for "how to connect Synfire to a DAW". Upload is very fresh and it still takes some minutes until YouTube updated the files for HD resolution.

Yes viewed your first YT video last week. Great that you continue fast with more videos.   Was not aware that in V2 you can still work with drones in  Cubase .  Andre discontinue drones in Ableton 11.

Thanks

Are you still using Studio One 5? If so, you will be able to sync Synfire with Ableton via ReWire. You can see this video here for suggestions as to how to get the ReWire transport to show up in Studio One 5:

Rewire Update for Studio One v5 - Walk Through

I followed these instructions and they worked for me in getting Synfire to sync with Studio One 5. The only reason I currently have issues with getting the two programs to sync is because I upgraded to Studio One 6, which has completely discarded all ReWire capabilites. I'd hate to have to downgrade to Studio One 5, so I'm hoping that Andre will find a way to get Synfire to successfully sync with the current versions of all DAWs. In the meanwhile, the above solution is the best I know of.
