Hi Guys,
i love using Harmony Navigator. But i am not able to set it up correctly. For example: I want to use it with Logic and Logic Sounds, but i am not able to do it. So, heres the plan: I am looking for someone "on location" or remote to set up Harmoney Navigator running with Logic. I am willing to pay for it. Please get in touch!
Best,
Robin

Hi Robin,
how do you want to use HN2 with Logic?
Please note HN2 is not a plug-in that could be loaded into Logic directly. Its a standalone software that generates midi files to import into Logic.
You can also use HN2 to send midi data over a loopback connection (aka virtual midi cable) to other standalone software like Kontakt and a DAW. Please check out this video, if that is what you want to do:

Hope that helps.

Hi Supertonic,
yeah, i know its not Plugin. But i am not able to get it running. I wanted to send over the midi data. But it think HN2 has not a correct setup and so its not working with the loopback connection.
Greetings,
Robin

Have you tried the loopback connection with a standalone synth like Kontakt? Logic is very complicated with internal midi routing from outside. You should test first if the loopback output works and debug the Logic end after that.

If it can be of any help, you need to send the midi of HN2 to IAC internal midi of your Mac.
You will find IAC under Audio/Midi setup in preferences.
Then use Logic's Environement to wire IAC to a channel strip.
Not user friendly i agree...
