I got it it working in the right direction..problem with the32 bit version is memory
I am forced to use the asio server driver 32 bit for Synfire and Cubase working together in Windows 7 , but when the samples are loaded in the drumcomputer coupled with the memory space taken by the other racks it becomes quick overloaded.
A Halion5 rack for General midi ( i do have 2 GM racks, but i must make 1 out of these two ) and this Groove agent rack 4 to start with and look how far i can go with memory space ?
Seems to not possible to use directly grooveagent 4 in Synfire.. it must be used as a transient drone .. it has the big advantage that the workflow for grooveagent 4 (used a transient droen ) is optimised for Cubase 7.5 ..there is a much better drum composing interaction then in Synfire possible
The same better composing interaction for Halion5 as multitimbral transient drone in Cubase ..it seems that i must put HAlion5 en Grooveagent 4 as a transient mididrone in Cubase.

Like I said, it's working fine for me but I'm using 64 bit. Why are you using 32 bit if it doesn't work?
You could use GA4 as a transient drone like you said, but then you would still have to enter the MIDI notes for the track in Synfire.
If you want to use the drum composing capabilities in Cubase, it would be better to have GA4 as an independent track in Cubase (i.e. not linked to Synfire), for use along with your transient drones in the project.
This is one of the advantages of transient drones; you can use Synfire as an exceptional composition tool using the transient drones, plus you can have MIDI and audio tracks in your DAW at the same time, that are independent of Synfire.

Thanks pete !
All can be done in 64 bit...a insight what came by you.
You are right .. i was too focussed on the transient drone, while GA4 doesn't need to be a transient drone
Only issue is how to setup a GM as transient drone in Cubase, because you are importing GM midi files in Synfire
I do have GM file with custom drums and this must be imported in Synfire and be listening in Cubase.

I have managed to achieve this now, no problem. I will do a tutorial as soon as I can, if only I can find the right software to do it! (See other topic).
