Getting a little fed up with some of ableton's limitations. The issue with the timing of automation and the quality of the rendered output are two of my biggest downers, so been looking at Bitwig studio especially as its on holiday offer.
A little worried though as it doesnt support rewire, so wondering if anyone here has had any sucess with it and how they got round this limitation?

Hi Jan,
do you mean you have got bitwig studio to play nice with synfire?
Not interested in any other daw, I love the workflow of ableton just the automation doesnt get adjusted for latency and the audio/notes do, plus when i export a tune to wav, it seems to sound worse than when i just play it in live. Bitwig studio has a very similar work flow to live, which is why im interested in it, but dont want to swap timing issues with automation for midi clock sync issues.

Bitwig has no ReWire and will never have, according to their FAQ. Bitwig does not support AudioUnits. Bitwig will not synchronize with Synfire.
