Synfire + Kontakt question

I use Vienna Ensemble Pro to host Kontakt then link to that from Synfire - works better and stays loaded if synfire crashes.

Do you mind giving an explanation of how you setup VEP with your DAW ? A Youtube tutorial would be good too if you have the time. Any tips that you may give on this forum  will be highly appreciated too.
