Parameter sent to plugin not returning to root container's default.

Hello, I have an issue where I set up a controller to an VST instance of FLStudio for volume and when I set the volume in a container it will change the instrument's volume to that of the container's but once the container has finished it will not return to the original's volume. Edit: upon further testing it will do this even without the custom controller and the instance of FLstudio, attached is an animation of it happening with an instance of soundcase on the global rack.
