hi
sry if this discussed before but i didnt find any topic about it.
Lets say we had a midi file which is containing over 90 tracks bassline
in the midi importing dialog screen
Algoritm : Simplified Bass
"Apply to all channels"
or multiple drum tracks
Algoritm : Static Pitch
"Apply to all channels"
any chances?
it would be really helpful to making our own libraries easily.
Best regards

Hello Yıldırım,
you probably mean multiple selection for the SMF tracks, so settings are applied to all selected tracks?
This is not (yet) possible, but when you take care of setting the right GM sound program change for each track before you create the SMF, Synfire recognizes drum tracks (channel 10) and bass tracks (any of the GM standard bass sounds) automatically. This way you won't probably need to make individual settings anyway.

hi
sry for my poor-simple english
yes
"multiple selection for the SMF tracks, so settings are applied to all selected tracks"
thats what i mean exactly
Before import;
changing all midi channel programs to the GM Bass patch or to the Guitar patch really tiresome
if midi really had 99 tracks but yes its easy way to do right now.
Thanks

Making normal widgets (like those of the import settings) multi-selection capable is challenging because checkboxes and other controls must support 3 states: on/off/multiple values. This is not supported by the user interface library we are using. We'd need to develop this enhancement ourselves.
Anyway, there are many editors that would benefit from such a feature, so it is on our agenda.
