Easy selection of a scale is possible in the circle of fifth diagram..than only a colored border around those chords(boxes) who are belonging to the choosen key
All the possible chordtypes on a scale degree seems to be useless information?
Example Cmajor for the first degree: chord types for triads, seventh, 9 ,11, 13
Say I do want to work only with triads in the palette for Cmajor or with triads and sevents chords together
For triads i can add a octave doubling note as example
The problem is now for me to give meaning to the coloring of a chordprogression in HN2 or SFP

You can remove all chord types from a palette that you don't want.
Otherwise I do not understand what you mean.

Yes in the Palette layout Setting
-Basic chords only -- gives triads
But again i do want only have the triads for a Cmaj ( as example)
So when in the palette shows only the outlines of the triads chords who belong only to Cmaj scale than this is handy for live accompaniment, because i know exactly what are the right triads for these scale and can later make substitutions for experimenting
In this case i know the triads fro Cmaj , but not for Cmin scale
I think it is serieus limitation of HN2 that i can not see the chords belonging to a scale when i am using the palette
I hope Cognitone will fix this ?..in Palette Layout settings : basic Chords only for choosen key (NEW OPTION)!

Click on the "major" scale name and you will see the chords selected.
As I said in another thread already, you can also delete unwanted scales from a palette.
