Hello, everyone!
I am trying to use the sounds in Apple's Logic 9 Express to play Harmony Navigator 2 Advanced through. I came across a video called Hosting AU/VSTi With Apple Logic which showed things quite well, but some of the windows in the video did not match the interface in the Audio / Midi Setup window of my software. I have things connected between Harmony Navigator and Logic so that the preview plays as expected, but when I play a progression with a basis, the default sounds are used. Can you suggest what I am doing incorrectly? I have attached two screenshots of the Audio / Midi Setup dialog boxes in HN2.

Hi Joe,
the song's instruments and the global accompaniment pattern's instruments are different instances. Once you copied a pattern into your song ("basis") the changes you make to the song do not alter the global pattern anymore.
The global pattern needs to be edited and saved as a preset, if you want to permanently change its sounds.
To me this looks like a bug, though. I will add this to the list. It should be possible to play a palette or progression with the song's current instruments.
