I'm not sure if someone posted an answer to this question a month or two back..
I have created a really nice flute part, with the use of Pause, Step, However once you have a couple of tracks that way, it's virtually impossible to 'see' what the song is really doing.
For now, if I'm satisfied with a part. I export it, and the re-import it static,, so now I can see the rhythms, starts and stops, etc.. I keep a library, so I can go back to ground zero if I want.
Is there a way to do this with 'snapshot'?
Thanx..

The menu item is called "Extract From Output" on the parameter menu. Works with Take and other parameters.

I couldn't get the command to work with pause. The Pause (really should be relabled "Mute) and Step have perhaps the most profound effect on the notes of track.. Once you start building an arrangement. I'm of the opinion you should commit to it (keeping libraries and previous song version). Otherwise you end up with hundreds of permutations.. Which is overwhelming..
