I notice when I attempt to grab ahold of notes for an instrument in the arrange page, If you overshoot by the least amount, you move the whole track up an instrument. May I suggest you enlarge that area, in case you overshoot a bit.
Not sure if this can easily be done or not, it would be a small but issue, but makes the experience one tiny bit less confusing.
