Today the content tags were updated and edited. Files, Wiki pages and existing tutorials were re-tagged accordingly.
On the Search page (and elsewhere), you'll find a tag cloud that can be used to navigate contents by topics. Under each teaser listed on the site, a list of tags provides a means for navigating to related content. Since all content is tagged (articles, tutorials, wiki pages, files and technical problem solutions), it is now easier for visitors to find what they are looking for, or find something new they are interested in.
I've put some effort into thinking up a useful hierarchy of tags. Note that tags feature inheritance, that is, if an item is tagged "Ableton Live", it will also be listed under "DAWs" and "Synchronizing with DAW" and "Setup". When tagging your own content, you can limit yourself to very few tags and still cover a lot of semantics, so visitors will likely find it when looking for something related. Please always select the most specific tags in the hierarchy (i.e. the leaves of the tree).
The rationale behind this is to make this site more useful, beautiful and easier to navigate, so it will be more motivating and fun to create and share content (also for Cognitone, by the way).

I really like the new forum site. It's been great so far. I'd like to find out more about the click panel (in Synfire). But I'm very pleased that many people have checked out the tracks I posted on Soundcloud. So it seems that the forum has many visitors. Synfire has been great to, hard to get to know but it has definately added sophistication to my sound and improved my workflow. It has opened up my eyes to music theory and some relationships between different genres. The figures have been fantastic and have really helped with experimenting with lead parts. So, keep up the good work and let me know how I can be of value to you and Cognitone in general. I'm pleased to participate and be of service.
