So far I used drag and drop to export midi from one instrument. Now using a Mac, it does not work there. No midi notes dropped to NI Maschine.
How can I export just one instrument's midi to a midi file?

I tried to drop it to a Finder window. But nothing happened.
By the way: Drag and Drop is not so easy when using a MacBook with small display, because of space to place 2 applications on screen at the same time. IMHO would a menuentry with "export" function nice.

Wait about 2-3 seconds before you drop.
There's a small wait to make sure Synfire knows you want to export rather than drop onto another Synfire window.
There should also be a Phrase >> Export or Instrument >> Export menu choice (maybe even Container >> Export ... can't check at the moment).
