I haven't been able to get a program .xml file for Yamaha Tyros to work in SynfirePro. Is is working in the demo? It appears greyed out when I try to load it.
If I am working on an arrangement and I want to experiment with a new instrument using a style in one of the 'combos'. . I copy the chords to a new arrangement, I try a combo style, and then open the bass part say, HIghlight that, copy and then jump back to original arrangement, create a new instrument, open up 'edit' and paste. Is there a better way to do this?

If the device is grayed out, connect it to a midi port. That will enable it.
The copy and paste workflow you describe is correct. Alternatively you can open a new library window, drag all phrases from the pattern to it and then drag individual phrases to your arrangement. The library is a very capable clipboard.

Thanx.. After about 1 week of being somewhat 'lost'. More aspects Synfire Pro are becoming obvious.
