Basic chord progression question (HN2)

Hi, I'm using HN2 and have a question regarding chord progressions. When using the palette to record progressions how can I specify that I want a chord playing in a higher or lower octave? for example I may want to go from E2 up to E3 or similar, at the moment the palette seems to play just on a single octave.
