Here is a song I originally wrote last Fall, as my mom was passing away, and I was staying with her in Boston. The original version was quite long. I cut it in half, and hand played a few new parts. All the original material was done in SFP.
I really wouldn't have been able to lay out ideas and flesh them out, without this software. I did port over to Logic for some additional work.

Nice, I like the textures and rhythm very much.
Try more harmonic contrast by setting the backing instruments to stronger harmony (chords & extensions only, not full scale). This will make the progression more recognizable and separate lead voices from the background.

Thanx for the comments. I love reading your posts, cause there is always some little nugget of insight, that doesn't seemed to be documented. I will try your idea, yeah misunderstanding full scale, I've been using it, a lot.
