It would be really nice if I could tell Synfire to import all midi files in a particular directory, go to bed, and wake up the next morning and see the same directory full of "From xxx.mid.cognac" files.
Of course there is the issue of the import settings, but I've found that almost all of the time the default settings suggested by Synfire work just fine.
