Hello sycfire and hn2 community I am asparing producer here in miami florida. I just need some advice on using this program harmony nav. 2 which i will be using to assits me in my production. I use reason 4.0, first of i would like to know is it compatible secondaly where can i find out how to get my Midi working I have axiom 49 keyboard and digi design mbox mini 2 as out put of sound connected to my my mac imac. I believe i got it working with the loop play back driver video not sure. and also how do you use multiple synthesizers in reason to creat a song with HN. well i dont know much of the the technical wording i do know that i would like to create music if anyone can point me in the right direction using proppel heads reason wiht Harmnoy navigator 2 (demo) version then i would apprectiat it .

Reason is not a VSTi and Harmony Navigator 2 cannot be used as a host (rewire protocol) for Reason
So there is no direct connection possible between the 2 programs HN2 and Reason i think ??
The other solution is to get Harmony Nabvigator manual connected with a VSTi, but that is a hassle( too diffic
ult possible) for unexperienced user
A another promising solution is to wait for the coming HN2 version with a automatic VSti installer
Cognitone is working on this for a while and one of these days it must be finished .. and tested.
So with HN2 and the automatic VSti installer you can work directly in a DAW and in HN2
When this new HN2 with automatic VSti installer will be released?

Well i know its possible just don't know how. Why do I say this is becuase the person who reffered me to HN2 uses reason with HN2 . I tried to contact him yet he has not responded. It's a video subsrcibption on how to make music.
so im subscribed Yet have not been able to contact the instructur. So i guess I'll just wait for his reply on how he made it possible in his videos. Any ways is there any place wheere i can go to learn how to use HN2 in general.
Whats a good place to start learning about the cirle of fifths and understanding the basics any videos recomended would be helpfull thanks! :thumbsup:

I think it must be possible to make a "devicesetup" for Reason with a loopbackdriver, so that you can use sounds from Reason in HN2 for the accompaniment instruments, but further else?
There is no integration of HN2 in Reason or the other way around seems to me
But with the new coming automatic VSTi installer for HN2 and integration with HN2 in a seqenzer there is more interaction
Say you make a melody in the sequenzer and transfer this direct to HN2 in a second ( i hope ;)) ( at the moment there is no melody generator in HN2, so the melody must be imported)
Reason is not a VSti ,so the automatic installer won't work for this with HN2, perhaps only manual install( but that is difficult..that is why Cognitone makes a automatic installer!)
