Here is a jazz pop fusion piece for lack of a better title. I started it a few years ago, but recently put some 'finishing' touches on it.. I took the existing piece and imported into SFP and played around with interpretation and step parameters (both great features) of a couple of instruments
Please forgive the fact I scored it the key of C, when obviously it was not (still just scratching the surface of Logic's rather 'obtuse' score editor (and didn't bother to revamp score parameters)
.Also the abrupt ending - the drummer had to go to the bathroom!

Hi all
Congratulations Markstyles!!! Sounds great your song.
Is a jazz song very fresh and live.
As I listened the song I imagined a pub illuminated with the notes of your song played live by a jazz band and the trumpet played Miles Davis.
Sounds very very professional and very interesting and visual
I like so much your song, sure Henrietta is happy
Regards Artist :bravo:

Sounding very 'real' mark, love the muted trumpet sound and the way its 'played' It's a bit to jazzy for my tastes but a good piece for that style. The drums are great, can't beat a real drummer.

Short tale in the morning
I met her. She lived in a hotel room near Dumaine St. I think so... That night, vapors of Fritzel's bourbon mingled with the clammy fog that breeze blowed from Black Bay. That night we interlaced our sticky and sweaty bodies that turned into endless warm embraces. It was like a crazy dance to the rythm of that music stealthily creeping through the opened windows. And I just only remember her shinning mulatto skin, her caresses and her name: Henrietta Hudson.

Henrietta Hudson is actually the name of a lesbian bar in New York City. But the name would always make me chuckle. No I never went in, and I'm not a lesbian.. Codetronx- that girl had multiple personalities, so you met the 'swinging' one...
Thanx guys.. muchly appreciated.. Seriously - I seem to have a bit of trouble starting a project entirely in SFP. I have done quite a few, I often get off to a good start. but laying in delicate details with SFP still alludes me. I still work at it, but my more successful pieces are started in Logic, and then parts exported over to SFP to 'dress them up more'.
I guess I'm a 'linear guy at heart'.. I also get overwhelmed by too many options.. I feel the need to try everyone, and then after a while, I just go off track.. Next day I have to back up several versions.

I think that 's understandable... i feel the same it is a tough program to master Synfire , because the poor documentation gives no vital practical information.
But it consumes also a lot of time to read and try out, you must be persistent to grow with this program
Also the learning enviroment is not as open as it could be , because who is willing to explain step for step how he comes to his composition?

Yes, i am also trying to be linear ( straightforward ) as possible in the arrangement window
No I never went in, and I'm not a lesbian.
Could be tricky with all those lesbian women, as a straight man ..haha .. they rape you on the toilet perhaps
Enough fooling around..
I am trying now the VSTi XHUN audio electric guitar---> stunning realistic guitar, because it is a physical modelled design.. the strings sounds natural..comparing this with HALion 4 ?

That's not exactly right. She had an evolved personality. After spending that night together she realized that she never would find another man like me... and she wouldn't want. That's why, one hour later, she boarded a Greyhound and went to NYC looking for a new life... and new lovers.
