How to setup the master rack for shared racks

Posted

Is there a way of chancing the order of the racks too .. by dragging or by a knob
But how to  use this master rack ?

Try SHIFT + Left/Right Arrow to move the selected module.

The master module is for an effects plug-in and master volume control only.

Good/important idea to make this video, because i already noticed that i could not easy assign a instrument to a arrangement working alone wih the racks Device description...this opens a whole new world of instruments easy to choose from whatever instrument source in Synfire as i can see it now.
The ultimate goal is reached..

Perhaps a idea to add a message for this in the rack configuration.

How to route some global racks to the master rack than ?

Another point not relating to the racks but to the containers .....
- if i want to move a row of containers than i must use CTRL +click to select single containers  and use arrow keys left or right for moving the containers.

Is there a key combination for selecting container in a row ?
In MS Windows i use Shift and select the first object --than select the last object and all objects between them are now selected too.

Can this be done for the containers ? .. should be working easier

Multi-selection currently requires to pick each container.

Containers are not always arranged in a row.

Is it possible to add  this Shift  click startobject... click endobject  only for a container row then (!) ?

Still no idea how to work with a master rack for soundvolume --> more easy fade out ?
I like to have a easy fade in or out for the arrangement as a whole in Synfire itself.
