I've been spending the night finally setting up the playing ranges. Quite of few of the sounds I've set up have non harmonic tones (guitar scratches, bass slaps, key noise etc) or some sort of programmatic midi control (in strum C4-C5 are used as strumming controls to play held chords on the left hand).
In both these cases keyswitches are not sufficient. They are harmonic parts but with a few notes that should not be considered.
It would be great if there were a way to disable specific notes from harmonic analysis on a particular instrument.
Also, is it dangerous to have an "Upper" range set physically lower on the keyboard than the other ranges. A number of percussive patches mix up the order. I am hoping that is alright to do.
Finally, quite a few articulation have a different key range than the basic patch (fretted strings v.s. harmonics etc).
