I like to Synfire itself add a insert/send effect and equalizing
Can this be done roughly in Synfire itself ?
It is attractive to make a quick mastering in Synfire, but i do need external mastering VSti ?
Better is to use drones ? ..i do have Cubase with extensive tools for this
Note
i do use Synfire Expres and need also a mastertempo track
For the starting classical composer ( aspirations ) , synfire express has a shortage of tracks and no master tempotrack.
Composing without articulation without keyswitching immidiately is a good starting point for classical composing.
I do have a nice piece of music here and it fits with the avaiable number of tracks , but the master tempo is varying...
I ordered Synfire Pro to solve all those limitations of Synfire Express !

Hi Janamdo:
Mastering (at least home done) would require plug-ins.. You'd need something Like Ozone 5, Steven Slate Digital, T-Racks, and there are a number more.. Most if not all DAWs offer enough to get by alone.
You of course need these for the master two track buss.. That's what the normal mastering engineer uses. But you really need individual plug-ins for each track, for EQ'ing, stereo enhancement or modification, compression or limiting reverb and effects send and return busses for proper ratio and effects loudness..
You need the EQ'ing especially for subtle yet needed EQ boosts, or cuts, to let all the instruments shine thru.. Knocking the low end or high end down a bit, does wonders for getting all the individual tracks to 'weld' together well.
If the master tempo is varying.. something must be wrong.. I've never heard SFP tempo wander, it might pause, if you're trying to save the song and play it as well..
Being able to Master SFP directly would be nice, but then again SFP would be approaching a DAW.
