when using several midi drones and using a midi keyboard to record, other tracks are receiving the midi also. how do you set this up so each track receives midi indepently without sending to all or other tracks?
enormously confused on the drone setup now. i have 4 midi drones that are working. selected midi input to them. they are now green devices in the descriptions.they are grey in the port connector. how do i ungrey this? thanks.

Make sure the external midi keyboard is wired to only a single input drone at a time (in the DAW). Disable the same external keyboard input in Synfire.
A new drone is initially reserved. It must be shared (blue) or private (green) to be useful. Therefore make its port shared, or add it to a private project using the instrument inspector.
