I am using Synfire Express, It seems to be neccessary to organizing files in the library directly : by using subfolders..
Is it possible to add a subfolder feature ?
Further is it possible to assign Vsti sounds to the library phrases ? ( for example.. i have assigned a VSTi in the arrangement window and now i must assign the same sound again for the same Vsti in the library ( so you get 2 soundassigning for the same sound ?)
I dragged a whole chordprogression to a library --> Null Sound ..cannot listen to this particular choosen sound... what it does, when it is assigned as a global sound ( midi probably ) it is limited for the creativity flow.
A quick way to listen to a random sound and a chords in the library should be better and to listen to GM sounds all the time is boring.
Where do you chance your sound in the library or in the arrangement for the right sound ?
If you could get always a working extract device description for all Vsti than there is no need for manual assigning all the time..the instrument sounds, but that's not the case..it is a mixture.
