Hello fellow forum users,
I have recently brought Harmony Navigator and would like to start using it straightaway for my productions. However, I find the supplied manual very confusing!
Does someone have a manual/instructions that spells things out in a more easier way to digest? Some of the things I need Harmony Navigator to help me with is key changes options for verse, chorus as well as chord progression possibiliites.

Hi Reg,
don't let the overwhelming chord palettes confuse you. They are basically just a set of chords to play and try out and key changes are very simple. You just pick a different key from the circle of 5th and then play the chords on that palette and add those to your progression (drag & drop). HN2 LE will retain the key information with every chord, which also influences its color.
In theory, you could therefore change the key with every chord, if you like so.
A key change also works by selecting multiple chords in a row and the "Estimate" the key (button, or menu). This will however not change the chords, only their meaning and relation to each other. And their color. Since HN2 LE renders the plain chords only (no phrases & melodies), they will sound the same, regardless which key you select, unless you pick different chords.
You may remember that the same chord has a different meaning (function) in different keys. This however onyl influences the scales to use for melodies.
