1. Is Synfire 64 bit? The 32 bit plugin scan makes me wonder.
2. When scanning for plugins (all of which are 64 bit for use with Studio One Ver 3) why does the scan window say "Scanning 32 bit plugins" when I only ever use 64 bit ones? SOLVED See 2 below.
3. Why wont my Miroslav Philharmonic 2 and Sample Tank Library load? They load just fine in Studio one? SOLVED See 2 below.
Thanks for your help! ;)
UPDATE 1 - Some menus have german on them which seems confusing when running the English version of the software. See attached 1 & 2.
UPDATE 2 - Found a post about having to run the 64 bit engine. Im surprised this isnt the default these days. Not sure what I do with the 32 bit Engine but hopefully research will reveal that info.
UPDATE 3 - Harmonic Content windows have verbage cut off at bottom. Attachment 3
Well after several hours of wrestling with the Audio Setup process I feel like I have a basic understanding of regular racks and global racks .Whew!

The 32 bit stuff is there for historical reasons and backwards compatibility. You are right, switching to 64 bit as the default would make sense.
Note that you will see the 32 bit Engine still showing up as long as there are racks that use it. Only after you eliminated all 32 bit racks from your setup, they will no longer show up. In short: If a rach used 32 bit plugins, opening it will launch the 32 bit Engine.
As for the German on your screen shots, it looks like you are running a Mac that has formerly been a German ;-) Those items are not Cognitone's. The GM Synth is a genuine Apple product.
I'm also on El Capitan (Mac Pro). If there was a side effect on the localization of other software, caused by Synfire, I would probably have noticed this. Really strange.
