Questions about working with auto chord tracks

Posted

When using a track set to auto chords, how can I select the articulation the instrument uses?

There's no figure on the track of course, so I can't select anything to specify what articulation is used.

Is there a way to render an auto chords track to a normal figure so I can modify it?

Ahh, I weas trying to drag the interpretation header to the figure header, which just made the figure zero length.

cool I did not know this aswell. Is there a way to quickly chop the chords so they sound more more like rock chords without redrawing?

Auto-chords are really for convenience only. There is no way, as far as I know, to change their rhythm. I would be surprised if Auto-chords responded to Step paramater (although I can't rule it out - this software surpsises even me at times).

If you want do be more specific, use the purple [a] symbols to draw vertical chords and place them according to the rhythm you want. This will also allow you to use the ClickBoard to shuffle the rhythm for some variation.

can you show me a cognac file where non auto-chord chords are used in a good way to learn? I recently swiched back to autochords as they make great ambient I can build melodies on top.
