Was it not in Synfire version before 2.0 that it was possible to unpack a rootcontainer ?

You see Andre, "Extract" would be a more intuitive term indeed. :P

The command grabs all phrases and packs them into a new child container. It works for any container.
The longer a menu item, the harder a menu is to parse. Pack Phrases may also work, don't know. But it definitely is not a verb applied to the container.

Why not unpack? In Sweden pack means : assemble. I had have problem with this since I bought the program, because I always begin in the root container, but now I know. I skould have read the manual first.

A help can be with menu-entries where they are standing for, with the new helpsystem in Synfire

I suggested "Extract". Intuitive, obvious, straightforward.
At the same time, I understand that "Pack" also gives the idea that it removes everything from the original container, which "Extract" may not give. That's probably why that's been chosen. It's probably confusing for non English native speakers, and maybe obvious for native speakers.
