When will the shop reopen

The shop will reopen when all editions of Synfire 2 are ready for publishing: Sparks, Express and Pro.

We are getting closer, but it will be a few weeks still.

Thanks, good to know. I demoed synfire a few years back, but ultimately did not follow through. Looks great what you are doing with 2.0 though from what I can see.

Is a release date in sight or will the bug fixes continue for several months?

Will the Factories and Kim only be available in the pro version?

Will Sparks, Express and Pro all use Pace copy protection?

We don't have an ETA, but it's probably weeks rather than months.

The feature sets are still being balanced out. We want to make each edition as useful as possible for their envisioned target audiences.

Sparks won't require a dongle nor a cloud connection.

I'm looking forward to the reopening of the shop. I would like to try a demo of Synfire so I can see how the software works.
